The Golden Kiwi plant is native to China. It’s one of 40 different species belonging to the family, and is very closely related to the most common Kiwifruit we’re all familiar with – the Green Kiwi.
Golden Kiwi fruit has bronze skin – hence its name – and flesh that can range from bright green to vibrant yellow.
The Golden Kiwi has a sweet, tropical taste with hints of pineapple and mango, and a soft texture. It’s both sweeter and softer than green Kiwis.
